Five members of the research group recently attended The American Nuclear Society Student Conference in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This is a student led, professional development opportunity for students all around the nation to present their work and learn about the industry.
From left to write on the picture: Aaron Huxford presented his feed-through design to allow for in-situ Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) measurements on nuclear cladding materials inside the laboratory’s autoclave; Kyle Krcmar presented his work on UV illumination of Pre-Oxidized materials in a room temperature environment; Calvin Parkin presented his work on high entropy alloys; Jake Quincey attended the conference as member of ANS. Alex Glittenberg presented his work on supercricital CO2.
