The laboratory is now equipped with a state of the art high pressure, high temperature autoclave! The autoclave is equipped of four electrochemical feedtroughs, one high temperature reference electrode and three sapphire windows protected by thin diamond coatings. The electrochemical feedthroughs are equipped with a brand new multichannel potentiostat from Ametek® and the windows will be used for in-situ spectroscopy and irradiation of samples with UV light.
