MADCOR researcher Kailee Buttice awarded UNLP fellowship

The Department of Energy’s University Nuclear Leadership Program has awarded Kailee Buttice their fellowship this year! She’s currently studying the basicity of molten fluoride and chloride salts using p-block transition metal probe ions to further our understanding of its influence on molten salt corrosion for MSR applications. You can learn more this research here and more about Kailee and this fellowship on the UW College of Engineering blog.
