A new Rapid Turnaround Experiment (RTE) has been awarded!

The group has been awarded a new RTE by the Nuclear Science User Facilities (NSUF) on the use of ChemiSTEM to study the Nb redistribution in M5 fuel cladding irradiated at high burnup. Thanks to this award, in summer 2019, Zefeng Yu and Li He will be able to use the state-of-the-art nanoscale characterization equipment at the Low Activation Materials Development and Analysis facility at ORNL to advanced our understanding of fuel cladding corrosion and irradiation.
