Dr. Kieran Rivers joined MaDCoR as a post-doc in Dec. 2025 after completing his PhD at Oxford on atom probe tomography (APT) analysis of irradiated tungsten for fusion applications. As a post-doc Kieran is continuing to investigate fusion materials, but also is using APT and advanced microscopy techniques to understand the role of inclusions on the transport of charged species through Zr oxides.
