Jake Quincey, a senior undergraduate researcher in the group, was recognized recently for his performance at the 2018 Nuclear Innovation Bootcamp at University of California, Berkeley. Jake has developed his love for innovation at the Bootcamp, co-organized by Prof. Adrien Couet, and working in the group on a variety of different projects. Jake and his group won the innovation competition at the Bootcamp with a idea for a company helping certify more nuclear fuels and materials for use in the industry to enable the success of more startups in the nuclear field.
